Dear Readers,
Remember how Floral week happened awhile ago? Well I have been pretty slack on doing any other type of theme week... So I am going to plan ahead this time. Based off of a very successful good will trip with my mom I would like to announce: Ugly Sweater week! This will take place Nov 27th until Dec 3 (The week after Thanksgiving). I would make it sooner but I want people to have the chance to collect sweaters and also I would like Christmas sweaters to be acceptable during that week. Now it's true that you will see me sporting a different ugly sweater everyday- however I don't want to find myself alone in this endeavor! So all of you at Mansfield- or readers everywhere bust out those festive sweaters! (hit the thrift shops or raid grandma's closet). Even if you don't have enough to celebrate all week join me in the fun any day you can!
Also plan on taking photos of your efforts that week and send them to me- they will definitely end up on my blog :) I would also like to have a prize for the photo submission that readers vote is the ugliest!
I am exploring the option of ending the week with an Ugly Sweater Party too!
Stay tuned for more info.. but in the mean time here is some inspiration :)
Happy Planning :)

Anything is possible
So the other day at lunch I enviously watched as a few people around me ate egg salad. I thought 'wow egg salad sounds so good!' But I know there are loads of mayo in it- which means it's a no-no for my diet. But if you think outside the box a little anything can be done! Voila! Mayo-free Egg Salad Recipe! I am so ready to try this recipe as soon as I have time :)

The Other Danielle...
In high school I had a couple really close girlfriends, and a strong group of friends that we all spent time with doing shows, at school, or just spending time together. One of my best friends is named Danielle. We are basically made for each other... When we met through our older siblings in high school, and became great friends during the first year, we knew this wasn't just a three year thing- this friendship was going to last forever. It's true since high school we have parted our ways a bit, she is living in NYC and I am stuck in small-town, PA, but nevertheless we still share an unspeakable bond of friendship. It's amazing that we could go months without really getting a chance to talk then have lunch together and can still completely understand and relate to one another. I have few friends who I can claim to be this close to, but I feel blessed to have Danielle and those others in my life.
Now that you know a little about Danielle- I wanted to share her blog with all of you. She's as creative and artsy as myself- if not more, she has a lot of the same passions, so chances are if you like my blog, you probably will like hers. So check it out, and subscribe :) She's a lovely person that would be wonderful to get to know.

17 again...
I'm doing 17 again.. and I don't mean the Zac Efron movie! I am starting the 17 day diet again. It worked really well for me this summer, but since school has been back in session I haven't managed to keep my healthy eating at all, which means I did put a few pounds back on. Either way I still have lots of weight to lose before reaching my total weight goal, so another round of 17day diet will be good for me.
If you haven't heard anything about it, or haven't read my summer posts on it here is a little video to give you an idea:
Tomorrow is day one. I am both scared and excited, being in school I feel like their are way more horrible food opportunities! This means it will be a great way to test my self discipline... If anyone is interested in doing the diet with me- let me know and maybe we can even make a club or something if there are a few of us. ;)
